PULLMAN–The Cougs haven’t won many football games this season, but Mike Leach has won over plenty of reporters with his non-stop collection of lively quotes. Leach’s blunt appraisal of his players doesn’t go over well with some fans, and reporters bristle when he routinely shows up late for press conferences or post-game media sessions. When Leach does arrive, however, it’s usually worth the wait.

Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines Turmoil as:
"A state or condition of extreme confusion, agitation, or commotion."
It defines Controversy as:
"A discussion marked especially by the expression of opposing views : dispute."
So what can we call the situations in San Diego, Philadelphia, Dallas, Kansas City and Arizona?
Ken Whisenhunt will be let...
There was absolutely no beating around the bush on this one. I saw a picture of the girl on BustedCoverage, and from that point on I was quick and decisive. No questioning myself on this one – she was getting posted.
Long story short, the 49ers beat the sh$t out of the Cardinals on Monday Night Football. The only moral victory for the Cardinals was they now own the title of hottest...
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Cardinals will be without starting right guard Adam Snyder and cornerback Greg Toler for Monday night's game against the 49ers.
Snyder sustained a quadriceps injury in the team's 21-14 loss at Minnesota eight days ago and was inactive after being listed as questionable Saturday. Rich Ohrnberger replaced him in the starting lineup. Toler missed...
Now that the season is at its halfway point, it is easier to get an accurate reading of how good a team really is. The Arizona Cardinals however may be one of the few exceptions to that thinking because of their very inconsistent play. They started out the season hot, winning their first four games on their way to becoming a potential Super Bowl contender because of how well...
This is one of the hottest Bleacher Babes we’ve seen in the crowd all year. Lots of Arizona Cardinals fans dressed up for Monday Night Football just days before Halloween. Most of the fans were bloated versions of Batman but we were lucky to find this gem in the crowd dressed as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
I was confused because I thought most of the people in the crowd...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Daryn Colledge had never been the player asked to do the conference call with the opposing team's local media. After all, as the offensive lineman who protected Brett Favre for two years and Aaron Rodgers for three seasons during his time with the Packers, Colledge wasn't exactly highly requested for those types of interviews.
Now in his second year with...
HIT 'EM UP
Earlier, we showed you a massive hit from a CFL game on Saturday, and asked, "Football hit of the year?" Well, we just got another "football hit of the year" contender in the Monday Night Football game between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers. Watch 49ers safety Dashon Goldson absolutely crush Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet (video via Cosby...
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Never mind that the Cardinals offense looked as inept as ever Monday night -- that's old news.
The story of the Cards' 24-3 loss to the 49ers was a sloppy, porous defense that failed a big test and helped push the team's season another step toward the proverbial cliff.
"This was a big test for us tonight, and you saw how it went for us,"...
The 49ers dominated in the desert, crushing the Cardinals on Monday night for the world to see. Can anyone catch the reigning NFC West champs?
Ever since Texas Tech hired Mike Leach in the 2000 season, the Red Raiders have had a reputation as an all-offense, minimal-defense outfit.
Kurt Warner, NFL Network analyst and former Cardinals quarterback, joins Matt this week to discuss the halfway point in the NFL season. They talk about the Cardinals' recent struggles and their quarterback situation, if replacing Michael Vick is a good idea, and why playing quarterback is the toughest position in sports. Plus, he comments on why he still has an urge to play and...
The 49ers remained No. 4 in the in this week’s Associated Press Pro32 NFL power rankings after their 24-3 rout of the Arizona Cardinals left them 6-2 with a two-game lead in the NFC West heading into their bye week.
