Found October 06, 2013 on Eagles Eye:
I need to apologize to not only the Eagles organization but also the die-hard Philly fan base everywhere, because I had this game as a stone-cold lock for the Giants... But the Eagles came up with a total team effort--- including 5-for-5 field goals made by Alex Henery--- and a resilience on both offense and defense we hadn't seen since the opener in Washington. There were so many individual responses by Eagles players to adversity on the field, I don't know where to begin. Cedric Thornton, for example, got ripped off by the refs of a legitimate safety tackle against David Wilson in the Giants end zone...but he kept on playing hard. Same goes for safeties Earl Wolff and Nate Allen, who both made some early mistakes on double-move routes but eventually recovered to each make some big plays to deny long receptions by the Giants' best wideouts. This could potentially be Foles’ opportunity to get some revenge. During the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the...

Eli Manning Has Been Awful This Year

How big of a problem is Eli Manning for the Giants right now? It didn't seem like it at first, but Eli is becoming a huge reason why the Giants are 0-5. The Giants can no longer pretend that their quarterback is not costing them games. David Diehl will start in place of Chris Snee

According to Newsday,  Giants offensive lineman David Diehl announced that he’ll take over for Chris Snee at guard now that he’s been placed on season-ending injured reserve. Hopefully Diehl can help the Giants line get things going against the Eagles on Sunday.  It’s been virtually impossible for them to get any type of push in the running game and quarterback Eli Manning...

Tom Coughlin rips Eli Manning for 'unbelievable' interceptions

Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin will be forever irrevocably connected to each other in New York Giants history for their two miraculous Super Bowl wins and their decade long relationship as mentor and protege.  Throughout it all, you never heard the head coach besmirch the play of Manning — either as a raw rookie or a struggling veteran —until now. In what must have been a painful...

WATCH: David Wilson's does double-backflip after TD

David Wilson of the New York Giants helped get his struggling team off to a fast start against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday by ripping off a nice 5-yard TD run. Instead of Wilson’s typical single backflip, he added another just because. Great execution. Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Tom Couglin says stop blaming Eli for 0-5 record

Tom Coughlin wants everybody to stop blaming Eli Manning for the New York Giants' miserable start. Speaking in a conference call Monday after the Giants' record fell to 0-5 with a 36-21 loss to Philadelphia, Coughlin said the blame for the team's worst since 1987 should be directed toward him. Once money in the fourth quarter, Manning has struggled with the game on...

Eagles Beat the Giants: Takeaways

The Eagles came away with a much needed win against the Giants yesterday. I can’t say it was the prettiest win at times though, and it’s clear that Chip Kelly and his staff still have a good amount to work on this week. However, sitting at 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the division, the Eagles are tied for first place in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys. Here are just a few things...
