Texans DE JJ Watt is a 6-foot-5, 295-pound beast of a man, but put him next to retired NBA star Yao Ming and his impressive 7-foot-6, 310-pound frame, and Watt goes from imposing hulk to, well, a normal sized human being. According to Watt’s Twitter account the two had lunch together, but the 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year failed to mention whether the pair broke out in an impromptu ventriloquist act, which would have been totally appropriate given the stunning height differential between the two… Great lunch with @yaoming today. Have a feeling he could knock down a pass or two… twitter.com/JJWatt/status/… — JJ Watt (@JJWatt) February 12, 2013 The post Yao Ming is still a ginormous human being who can make even JJ Watt seem small in comparison appeared first on Last Angry Fan.

Houston Texan Star J.J. Watt Is Dwarfed By 7'-6" Yao Ming (Picture)

Houston Texan Star and the NFL’s Defensive player of the year J.J. Watt is a mountain of a man. Watt weighs in at a meager 295-pounds, coupled with 6-5 height. He might just get your attention when he walks into a room. Watt recently had lunch with another Houston icon, Yao Ming. Yao is listed … Continue reading »

Curse of the Houston Texans: Watt Next?

There are a number of famous curses that pertain to sports. We have heard of the Madden curse and the curse of the Bambino, but most have probably never heard of the Buffalo Sports Curse and the Cardinals Football Curse (look them up). There is one curse though that has never been talked about, but deserves some consideration when it comes to sports and the unexplained. I’m talking...
THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT

Yao Ming is slightly taller than J.J. Watt

J.J. Watt is by no means a small man. In fact he is a very large fella and clocks in at a solid 6′ 5″, 295 lbs. However, perceptual contrast is everything especially when you take a photograph of him standing next to 7′ 6″ Yao Ming. This is a great photo but it doesn’t compare to Yao’s time in Africa or him playing golf. Great lunch with @yaoming today. Have a feeling...

Yao Ming Makes J.J. Watt Look Dwarfian When Two Pass-Swatters Hang Out (Photo)

What’s bigger than a 6-foot-5, 295-pound defensive end? A 7-foot-6, 311-pound former NBA center, of course. Houston defensive star J.J. Watt was doing some sports cross-pollination on Tuesday, and his foil was none other than former Houston Rockets star Yao Ming. Watt suggested that Yao could help with what is considered Watt’s specialty: swatting passes at the line of scrimmage...

Yao Ming a future Hall of Fame candidate?

As the top pick of the Houston Rockets in the 2002 NBA draft Yao Ming only played a total of nine years. While his stats may be impressive during his brief career his impact in the globalization of the NBA brand is unparalleled. Ming finished with career averages of 19.0 points and 9.2 rebounds, including two seasons when he averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds.... Read more

Yao Ming meets J.J. Watt, makes him look small (Picture)

Under normal circumstances, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt towers over most human beings at a 6'6 but it looks like J.J. finally met his match when he met former Rockets center Yao Ming for lunch on Tuesday.Check out the below photo that J.J. posted to his Twitter page:

Yao Ming may be the only athlete who could make JJ Watt look tiny (Picture)

JJ Watt is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The Houston Texans defensive end is 6-foot-5, 298 pounds, and a monster on the field. One of Watt’s specialties is his ability to bat passes. He was credited with 16 passes defended last season, which is an absurd amount for a defensive lineman. But as big and awesome as Watt is on the gridiron, he looks like a dwarf standing...

Caption This Photo: Yao Ming Makes JJ Watt Look Small

What do you know about them Houston boys? Well I know that neither one of them are actually from Houston, however Yao Ming does have a pretty good Chinese restaurant in Houston that’s affordable. JJ Watt, the 2012 Defensive Player of the Year and defensive end for the Houston Texans, had lunch with Yao Ming the former center for the Houston Rockets today, and tweeted the above...

JJ Watt Is To Yao Ming As I Am To JJ Watt

His head is twice the size of mine Juan… JJ Watt had one of the best seasons by a defender, possibly ever.  He easily won DPOY and rightfully so.  He’s only going to get better and that’s scary for offenses around the NFL. JJ Watt With Bieber JJ Watt Crashes A Bachelorette Party

Yao Mings Top 10 Plays, Ever

This video was made as a tribute to Mr. James Bucklin, whose valentine will always be Yao Ming.  Many people don't understand what Yao is or what he could have been had injuries stayed far away.  We miss the big fella and only hope he is doing well.  This is a bitter sweet video. PS. no one made this video for James, that was a joke.

This just in: Yao Ming is tall, makes people not as tall as him appear not as tall (pic)

Crazy stuff, height. You know, how it is all relative and stuff. Former Rockets center (and very tall man) Yao Ming met another tall Houston athlete on Tuesday: Texans linebacker J.J. Watt. Apparently, the two tall men, although one is taller than the other tallish guy, enjoyed a lunch together. Ming is in Houston this week to attend NBA All-Star Game festivities. Watt was probably...

Houston Texans 2013 Offseason Preview

The 2012 Houston Texans were a bigger disappointment than receiving homework on Friday in grade school. That may sound like an overstatement, but trust me, it’s not. They had all of the pieces: a talented offense AND defense and all the health you can ask for from a team in the playoffs. Other than the loss of Brian Cushing in Week 5, the Texans were the healthiest they have been...

Tiny Giant People — KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

J.J. Watt had lunch with Yao Ming and the two posed for a photo that Watt shared on Twitter. People were shocked by the disparity in size because apparently some think all sports people are equally gigantic. Someone looks small compared to a guy who’s listed at 7’6″? WEIRD! – The Jags quarterback coach said that Blaine Gabbert would be the highest graded quarterback in this...
