Your Washington Redskins Summer Countdown

So here we are. We’re four days removed from the finale of the NBA season and Kobe
and his boyfriends are still celebrating their championship win like
it’s 1999. Get over yourselves already, the rest of us have;
basketball is a worthless sport anyways… okay, thanks! With that said,
still, we are now entering quite possibly the most boring month and a
half in the realm of sports. Add to this the fact it has quite
possibly rained more in the DC metro area over the last two months than
in Seattle, well the kickoff to summer in three days is about as
exciting as me getting evicted from my new apartment the very first
night.

But have no fear, Redskins Nation. Every passing gloomy day is one day closer to a brand new NFL
season. And fans in our shoes truly can’t help but be optimistic! Thus
begins our countdown here at All Hail to the up and coming Skins
excitement for summer 2009.

Training Camp: 42 days. Begins July 30th @
8:30am! Eight practices are open to the public, including fan
appreciation day on August 8th. If you plan to attend, make sure you
get there ahead of time as Fan Day drew over 28,000 people last year.
