Thank you YouTube. Since there are no great heavyweight boxing matches anymore, it is a real treat to go back and look at some that provided use with awesome drama. They tend to get forgotten and deserve a second look. The video quality is quite good for each of the following fights that you can check out any time on YouTube. Muhammad Ali vs. Leon Spinks I, 1978 Spinks had only seven fights under his belt. Ali owned the belts. There was great action throughout climaxing in an unbelievable 15th round.   Vitali Klitschko vs. Lennox Lewis, 2003 It’s interesting that one of the best heavyweight fights ever only lasted six rounds. During his call of the fight, Larry Merchant said these were the two most talented, biggest fighters to ever meet in the heavyweight division. Lennox Lewis vs. Shannon Briggs, 1998 Briggs was a journeyman who put on his best show in this fight. Briggs and George Foreman also put on a pretty great show.   Evander Holyfield vs. Riddick Bowe I, 1992.   The first fight of an epic trilogy. Round 10 might be the best in the fight, but there was consistent action throughout.   Evander Holyfield vs. George Foreman, 1991   Two champions of different generations squared off for an entertaining fight. The Seventh Round was excellent.   George Foreman vs. Ron Lyle, 1976 This fight is full of knockdowns on both sides. It was truly great piece of boxing art.   Ken Norton vs. Larry Holmes, 1978   The judges had this battle even at seven rounds to seven heading into the 15th and final round.   Hasim Rahman vs. Evander Holyfield, 2002  I just can’t get enough of the ultimate warrior as he takes down a former champ in Rahman.   Donovan Ruddock vs. Mike Tyson II, 1991   The rematch of a controversial first fight met all expectations. It was quite possibly, Tyson’s gutsiest fight.   Andrew Golota vs. Riddick Bowe I, 1996 Bowe was the champion and he met Golota in his first fight after his rubber match with Holyfield. Watch out for melee at the end of this fight. It led to rematch with a similar result. Both fights had great action.
