It doesn’t happen until November 23, 2013, but Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23KO’s) from Oxnard, California will be fighting in the biggest fight of his career.  His opponent is none other than the eight-time world champion, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KO’s) and it will take place in Macau, China.    Rios won the WBA Lightweight Title in 2011 by a convincing knockout against Miguel Acosta (29-7,23KO’s) and went on to defend it only once.  The next two fights he won but failed to make the weight.  In his next match, he knocked out Mike Alvarado (34-1, 23KO’s) to win the WBO Latino Light Welterweight title.  Five months later, Mike Alvarado avenged the loss by putting on an exhibition of the sweet science to perfection because Rios was not able to cut him off in the ring. But that is nothing compared to what he will face against the greatest fighter to come out of the Philippines.
