The long-rumored and much-anticipated Adrien Broner vs. Marcos Maidana Welterweight title fight has been made official for December 14 from Las Vegas, Nevada. Broner vs. Maidana will headline a 4-fight Showtime Pay-Per-View, featuring a stacked and intriguing lineup of supporting bouts. Carlos Molina will defend his Junior Middleweight crown against Victor Ortiz, Keith Thurman will take on Jesus Soto-Karass in what should be a sensational battle, and Alfredo Angulo will take on Jorge Melendez in another bout which promises great action. Credit: Will Hart - HBO Broner vs. Maidana isn't exactly a premier PPV headline bout. In fact, it's a pretty poor one. However, it's a good fight, and it's turned into a bit of a grudge match as Broner and Maidana have exchanged taunts and trash-talk over the past few months. As a whole, the PPV will offer lots of action and excitement. I have no clue how Victor Ortiz earned a title shot against Carlos Molina, though. By fight night...
