Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk‘s upcoming fight this week will recreate another iconic matchup in boxing history. To commemorate this, boxing legends Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis met with the champions. They took an incredible picture that is going viral on social media. But what is so iconic about this matchup?

Social media was recently graced by an incredible picture. Against a red backdrop and incredibly dressed were four of the best generational talents in boxing history. Lennox Lewis, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, and Evander Holyfield posed for a picture to commemorate an incredible title fight which will be recreated in a matter of few hours.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will finally step into the boxing ring for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. They will fight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is not often that all four heavyweight belts are available for contest. The last time something similar happened was in 1999 when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield for the undisputed title.

History was created in that fight and 25 years later, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are about to do it again. Matchups in the heavyweight division are usually the most popular fights in boxing. After years of organizing and canceling, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will put their undefeated status on the line for 12 rounds to become the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world.

Lennox Lewis backs Tyson Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk

Lennox Lewis was the last undisputed champion in the heavyweight division. This was 25 years ago when there were three world titles. The winner of Fury vs. Usyk will become the first boxer in history to hold four major world titles.

Boxing legend Lennox Lewis seemed to have the answer. During a recent interview with BBC Sport, he said that Tyson Fury should beat Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury said at the weigh-ins that he is not concerned about Usyk’s belts. Fury is determined to knock the Ukrainian heavyweight out. Promoter, Frank Warren said this was the most important fight of the 21st century. It will be interesting to see who becomes the first undisputed boxing heavyweight champion of the 21st century.
