The premise of sitting down Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield in the same room to rehash the famous biting incident seems pretty straightforward. The actual result, however, is pretty mindblowing. FOX Sports 1 will soon be airing a series of episodes about Tyson’s life, and it’s a pretty great redemption story. For a guy who was once convicted and sent to prison for raping a woman, Tyson’s public comeback has been pretty stark. Between the one-man show, cameos in movies about hangovers and his revealed love of pigeons, Tyson has done much to rehabilitate his image in his post-boxing career. Of all people, though, if you’d expect anyone to still hold a grudge against Tyson, it’d be Holyfield. However, that turns out to be very much the case. FOX got the two together to reminisce about Tyson-Holyfield II and the famous biting incident, and the interview went more like two old teammates reliving their glory days than anything even remotely contentious. The best part of the interview (at least the mintute-long teaser that FOX has released) is Holyfield admitting his idea for revenge was to kick Tyson in the groin. Check out the teaser clip of the interview in the video below. Thumbnail photo via Facebook/Mike Tyson Filed under: Boxing, Headlines, YouTube, Zach Stoloff
