Pumas did not meet the expectations fans had assigned them for the Apertura 2012, and during the past month have done important changes to fix this. 1. Assistant coaches Guillermo Vazquez Sr and Juan De Dios Ramirez Perales join the first team to support Torres Servin in the task of bringing the team back to shape. 2. Robin Ramirez joins Pumas, a Paraguayan who was playing as a loan in Colombia and finished as top scorer last season with 13 goals. Pumas bought the player from Libertad in a reported 1.5 million dollar deal. 3. Ignacio Gonzalez comes from Morelia and is reportedly exchanged for Fernando Morales. Ignacio is seeking a position in the first team, seeing how the position he plays is currently occupied by Jose Antonio Garcia. Pumas have played 4 pre-season games, all with good results: 3 wins against Lobos BUAP, Toros Neza and Pachuca and 1 tie against Tigres, they seem to be getting in shape for the upcoming season.
