B.C. Lions advance to 5-2 on the year During the resounding 24-5 victory against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the B.C. Lions extended their streak to over 180 minutes without allowing a touchdown, and picking off Darian Durant three times. Like the Lions defense Sunday, let’s get to it! Offense When the ‘Riders were up 3-0 into the second quarter, it looked like it was going to be one of ‘those days’ for both offenses, but the reigning Grey Cup MVP had other plans.  Throwing for 257 yards off of 22 competitions and a touchdown, as well as 27 yards and another score on the ground, the offensive game ball goes to Travis Lulay. He willed the Lions offense to get going, and when it did he wouldn’t let them slow down. So great job Travis! Wide receiver Arland Bruce is a close second for the game ball, catching three passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, but at the end of the day the guy on the other end of the 55 yard touchdown pass gets it.
