One of the more exciting plays for fans to watch in the middle of baseball game than someone who is streaking around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. It isn’t that it is extremely rare, but it certainly isn’t a common occurence. After all, it isn’t as if anyone is even hitting as many triple as doubles or even home runs. Raph Rhymes of LSU had just a little bit of everything to make his even more exciting, including a collision at the plate with the Ole Miss catcher. Of course, like any good inside-the-park home run, you can blame it mostly on a gamble by an outfielder to make the circus catch. That’s some quality baseball right there. Catcher wasn’t trying to do anything on purpose, as he was trying to track the flight of the ball. All clean, but brutal. H/T BLS
