Deacons offer Ohio OL
Wake Forest liked what they saw from Jon Benzey, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive lineman from Mariemont High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and extended an offer. He claims 18 offers from an assortment of top D-1 programs, but likes what Coach Jonathan Himebauch told him about the Demon Deacons.

This Is How You Lose Them: Wake Forest Basketball Fans In Revolt
Wake Forest basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik has a fan problem. They don’t like him.The students don’t like him. The townies don’t like him. The Board of Trustees doesn’t like him. The alumni base especially doesn’t like him. And fair or not, the line between that dislike being personal or professional continues to blur in the aftermath of his third straight losing campaign...
Suspension of redshirt policy signals change for Wake Forest football
One of the staples of Jim Grobe's tenure at Wake Forest has been his desire to redshirt every incoming freshman to the program. The basic reasoning behind it is solid enough: 1) It gives freshmen one full year of coaching in the program without burning a year of eligibility, and 2) the athletes have a good chance to acclimate themselves to a rigorous academic curriculum...

Wake Forest unveils prototype football helmets
It’s not clear whether these helmets will be used by Wake Forest for the 2013-14 football season or not, but I hope the white one is. The white helmet with the Demon Deacon logo is a great new look and would look awesome on the field. The black helmet is decent, but the black on black makes it tough to see the logo and I’m not a huge fan of disguising your logo like that...

Wake Forest Fans Take Out “Fire Bzdelik” Ad In Student Newspaper
When former Demon Deacons coach Dino Gaudio was fired in April of 2010, it was his lack of postseason success that was cited as the main reason for his dismissal. At this point, Wake Forest fans would welcome the mere thought of a postseason.
In his three years at the helm, Jeff Bzdelik has just ten ACC victories. For reference, UVA has ten ACC wins this year and is considered on...
Bzdelik, Wake get needed win over Xavier
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-- Wake Forest's victory over Xavier on Wednesday night wasn't a work of art by any means, but the Demon Deacons and their beleaguered coach will take it.
Jeff Bzdelik needed this. He needed it badly.
Prior to this victory, one can argue the Deacons' best performance in the coaches' two-plus seasons was a six-point loss to Connecticut in November...
