Watch: Baseball terms taken literally is the laugh we need
While baseball remains in limbo amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Central Michigan baseball team provided everyone with a laugh through a funny social media video. John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

There’s no telling when the Major League Baseball season will start. The College Baseball World Series, originally slated for June in Omaha, has been canceled.

Welcome to the COVID-19 era, where a spring spent enjoying baseball in the past has been replaced with longing for those days.

At the very least, it looks like some are taking this time in quarantine to help provide us with a laugh. Just as Central Michigan’s baseball team.

They just posted a video of players showing us what acting out baseball terms in a literal manner would look like. It’s the best thing you’ll see all week.

Will say, I was a bit concerned what was going to happen when one player said, “that guy’s got a hose.” Thankfully, it was literally a hose.

“Ducks on a pond.”

“Give it a ride”

“This guy is throwing cheese”

“Hit the showers.”

You’re welcome.
