Yale senior Jake Gehri had a day to remember on Sunday.
The Bulldogs catcher slugged not one, not two, not three but four home runs in Yale’s 13-6 win over Princeton on Sunday. Not only did Gehri crush four home runs, but his second and fourth were both grand slams. Yes, Gehri had 11 RBI in the game and single-handedly brought in more runs than Princeton scored in total.
Here is a look at all four home runs.

That’s one heck of a game.
Gehri was 4-for-5 in the game. He was pitched to in the ninth, and he flied out.
Amazingly, Gehri had no home runs and only three RBI all season entering the game. He put together a season’s worth of stats in one game and raised his average from .184 to a more respectable .241.
What a game.
