LOS ANGELES – Washington State’s basketball season might be a done deal – does the College Basketball Invitational await? – but at the very least, WSU fans can dream sweet dreams about next season and the return of junior post Brock Motum for his senior year. Motum is coming back, right? CF.C asked him the question one day after the Cougars opening round loss in the Pac-12 tournament.
Washington State Cougars Brock MOTUM was second in scoring in the Pac-12 (18.1 ppg), was in the league top-10 for field goal percentage (.549) and was one of the top rebounders in the conference (6.5 rpg) this season.
Motum's numbers took a monumental leap this year, improving from 2.9 points/.8 rebounds as a freshman and 7.6 points/3.0 rebounds as a sophomore.
This has been the “it” game for Washington during the last two weeks. The Huskies win a game in the conference tournament and they can feel confident about getting an NCAA tournament berth.
