With the on-court success has come attention from a slew of high majors, including Indiana, Kansas, Ohio State, Georgetown, Maryland and Miami (FL), to name a few. But no school is pushing harder than IU. “They’ve been recruiting me heavily,” Richardson told Inside the Hall. “I watched them a lot this past season. I love the coaching style and the way he [Tom Crean] coaches and everything he does with his program. I love the way they get up and down and feed the bigs. But also, they still run sets through their guard play.” Indiana offered Richardson in early December and watched him several ti...

Breaking down the IU career, departure of Maurice Creek

Everybody has their own opinion on Maurice Creek, and that’s fine. But it’s impossible to talk about his career at Indiana without using the word “unfair” or without discussing what could have been. In reality, Creek helped the Hoosiers very little on the court after his first year and half with the Hoosiers. It wasn’t his fault and he did everything he could to contribute...

Hoosiers Creek set to transfer for Senior Season

When times were hard and things were down at Assembly Hall there was hope in form of Maurice Creek. He was a member of the same class as Christian Watford, Jordan Hulls, and Derek Elison and arguably was the first of all of these players to help Hoosiers basketball begin it's upward climb. Unlike the others he won't finish out his eligibility at IU, instead opting to graduate...

After monster junior season, Blackmon Jr. looks forward to big summer

Indiana will have several capable scorers on its roster next season and a few good outside shooters. But the Hoosiers will likely lack a true all-around scorer who can create offense in a multitude of ways. That’s what they’ll get when James Blackmon Jr. arrives on campus with the class of 2014. Blackmon Jr., an Indiana commit currently attending Bishop Luers High School in Fort...
