Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis used to be a respected coach. Now he loses games and degrades the U.S. military. Recently, Weis was quoted as saying "I could get hoodlums and thugs and win tomorrow. I won't do it that way." He was referring to his matchup with the football teams of Navy and Air Force. Nice call, Charlie-good timing too, considering, I don't know, WE'RE AT WAR

Spygate is just not going to go away anytime soon, as long as, Senator Arlen Specter has anything to say about it. After the latest in the he said/he said, more and more is coming out about Notre Dame Head Coach Charlie Weis' role in the whole scandal.

When you look at changes from Notre Dame's disappointing 2007 when comparing it to what is in store for 2008, the biggest may not even have anything to do with the Irish playing roster or depth chart. Instead the schedule that was set up by Kevin White before his departure has Irish faithful thinking going from 3-9 to a New Years Day Bowl is not that unrealistic.
