Free agent defensive end Jason Taylor signed a one-year, $1.1 million contact to re-join the Dolphins. The deal also includes a $400,000 signing bonus. "The deal is a good one for Miami, as Taylor will earn just $1.1 million in base salary, with incentives that could bring him another $400,000. He had been contracted to earn more than $8 million with [...]

  • When in doubt go back to where you had your most success.Good luck to the Dolphins and Jason Taylor.
  • He says he loves and is commited to Doplhins, but he wanted out of Miami last year because they went 1-15.
  • Bad time to rejoin though. With that schedule 8-8 will be a good season.

And much as it's nice to have him back I can't forget the speed he ran when we finished 1-15. Suddenly we go 11-5 and he's coming home? Pardon the cynicism but Puh-Lease! LOL. At least we know his acting career will be successful!

Good deal from the front office though. They offload him and his big contract then bring him back a year later with an extra 2nd rounder and a drastically reduced contract. God it's nice to have an F.O. that knows what they're doing at last :)
  • So what else is new for the Redskins.........other than Oakland/Los Angeles/California somewhere Raiders the Redskins are the most inept, unskilled, and pathetic run team in the NFL.
Most teams would run and succeed on the money the Redskins have wasted these past years.

Finally Miami will revert closer to the team they were two years ago, than last year. Something like 6-10
  • His act just like Favre's is getting old!!

Dancing His Way Home: Jason Taylor Returns to Miami

In what has to be scored as an absolute coup, Jason Taylor has signed a contract to return to the Miami Dolphins. This story has been developing all offseason.  Taylor was released by the Redskins when he refused to report to offseason workouts.  He made clear his desire to return to the Dolphins.  But the Dolphins were mysteriously quiet about it.  They never said they didn't...

What A Surprise!!

Wow! Two days after the Miami Dolphins signed DE/OLB Jason Taylor to a 1 year/$1.5 million deal, I am still in shock. In my previous article I wrote that I expected the New England Patriots to sign JT, not the Phinz. The Dolphins now have a lot of options at almost every position on the field. [...]

With Jason Taylor Back…Who Goes?

The Miami Dolphins have Jason Taylor already listed on the official roster as a LB.  The Phins already have 13 LB’s on the roster.  A couple of those names are camp guys.  Maybe a practice squad player or two and nothing more.  Some of those are ILB’s who will not be directly affected by the [...]

The Dolphins moved Taylor to the Washington Redskins just before the start [...]

Forget About Jason Taylor Pats Fans

According to a report in the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, free agent defensive lineman Jason Taylor will re-sign with the Miami Dolphins instead of possibly signing a deal with the New England Patriots. Taylor spent last season with the Washington Redskins and had spent his entire career before that with the Dolphins. Many people thought the chance to [...]

Jason Taylor Returning to Miami Dolphins

It appears Jason Taylor has not played his final game for the Miami Dolphins. After being traded to the Washington Redskins last season (because — let’s be honest — team Executive VP of Football Ops Bill Parcells didn’t like Jason’s involvement on “Dancing With the Stars”), it was pretty clear Jason’s days in Miami were [...]Post from: Every Morning Quarterback Jason...

Taylor Coming Back to the Dolphins as a Backup

Jason Taylor is back with the Fins, but according to today’s Miami Herald, he won’t be a starter on the teams defensive, instead, he’ll be used as a role player off the bench. Here’s the tidbit from today’s edition: First of all, forget about whether Taylor starts or doesn’t start. The idea is not to [...]

A Few Words, Ostensibly About Jason Taylor

by Scott Benson, Patriots Daily Staff I never thought Jason Taylor would end up signing with the Patriots, but it was still kind of surprising to hear of his earlier-than-expected return to the Miami Dolphins yesterday. The conventional wisdom was that Taylor would wait out the upcoming OTA’s and mini-camps before committing. Apparently not. I was never a [...]Post...
