The past 18 months have been nothing short of brutal for Wildcat Basketball fans. The roller coaster of emotions that the program and its' fans have endured has been long and winding. I thought I would take the opportunity to document just what we have lost and endured in the last 18 months and what the future looks like.

  • I feel for Coach Olsen far more than the Arizona program. We have completely lost whats really important basketball or the person who has given much of his life to Arizona basketball. I can't believe that Coach wanted this to happen, but sometimes things happen we have no control over. Arizona basketball will survive. I hope that Coach can do the things he needs to do to get healthy and enjoy himself away from what has been terribly important to him. By the way he's done a great job.
  • I agree. As a season ticket holder for 15 years, this program has come a long way. My first season was the amazing 4-24 season put on by Ben Lindsay. I wasted my money on season tickets as no one went to the games. Then came Lute. What a class act. He transformed Arizona basketball and TRUE Arizona fans will never forget him for that. I could care less about the program right. Lets worry and pray for our COACH!!! Arizona basketball will survive.
  • I would think the recruits would show some respect and stay for COACH O knowing the circumstances. But I guess they're not as skilled as everyone thought since they didn't want to face the top competition ARIZONA BASKETBALL plays.
  • maybe now some of the old farts will give up their season tickets and give people who can actually cheer a chance to go to the games it wasn't called "Heavens waiting room" for no good reason
  • With out question we keep Coach O in our thoughts and prayers...my point was to show how much the program has crumbled in the last 18 months. We should have made a move earlier to have the next coach in place. We now face a daunting rebuilding task as opposed to a changing of the guard
