TEAMS: Memphis Tigers
PLAYERS: Tyreke Evans
John Calipari isn't the only one who is leaving Memphis. Tyreke Evans, the national freshman of the year, is leaving as well. Just an hour after Calipari informed the team that he was leaving for Kentucky, the 6-foot-5 Evans said his career is over and he will leave early for the NBA.

The guy is overrated, he looked so good because he was a 6'6 guy playing point against 6'1-6'2 guys

That is early, dude.I think he doesn't have enough toughness and experience to play in the NBA.Man, in order not to be disappointment, you gotta stay at Memphis. No matter who the coach is,doing your own job can easily bring you where you wanna be mate.

He is still young and he has the skills that's a definite, but I kinda understand why he would leave,He came to Memphis because of Calipari,so if the coach bolts and takes another job that means a new coach and whole style of play,so is it really worth transfering to another having to sit out an entire year? Or do you take your chance at the NBA,Where he is gonna be a 1st Rd pick and get that 1st Rd Contract Money..

Another year would do this kid a lot of good. Griffin could have come out of OU last year, too, but look what another year did for him. Willie Warren of OU is thinking about coming out, too, and he could use another year of college ball.
