Clemson disposed of Wake Forest 60-44 in a game that could be described as the KJ McDaniels highlight show. Make sure to check out the highlights below for a few impressive dunks. McDaniels did it all though, finishing with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 blocks in the Clemson victory. It was the Clemson defense (Wake Forest offensive woes) that were they key as Wake Forest made just 20% of their 3 point attempts and only 26% of their two point tries. Clemson blocked a shot on 19% of Wake Forest possessions which certainly didn't help.
Tonight, there are two matchups as Miami travels to Boston College and NC State plays at Maryland, and both are potential upsets. The Canes are 3-0 and travel to BC and hope to keep their undefeated conference record with a win in a tough road environment. If you're asking, why is BC a tough road trip? Just ask NC State about their trip to Chestnut Hill. Speaking of the Wolfpack, NC State is coming off a Duke win and historically the Wolfpack haven't done well in that situation. According to Joe Giglio, the Pack are just 1-12 in the game following a UNC or Duke win in the past 20 years. Oh by the way, Maryland is coming off a bad road loss and you can bet Mark Turgeon will light a fire under the Terps.
