If you take the pulse of the Virginia Tech fanbase, Seth Greenberg's seat is hot. If it weren't for a tap-in in the final seconds by Dorian Finney-Smith to help Virginia Tech escape with a one point win over Boston College, the seat would be scorching. Escape is the proper word, Boston College seemed to be in control most of the way but Virginia Tech hung around and made a play at the end.

Finney-Smith had his best game in sometime, scoring 17 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Finney-Smith's offensive struggles have been well publicized, and the Hokies have struggled over the same period. Perhaps the freshman has turned the corner, one thing is for sure Seth Greenberg could use his versatility. The question is whether or not Finney-Smith or any of his teammates are versatile enough to save Greenberg's job.
