AGGIES LOOK: Coleman III, Garcia Share 360-Message From Paradise
USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to Paradise, Texas A&M Aggies fans.

After taking the summer to regroup and continue putting in work in both the gym and weight room, Aggies hoops is officially back ... kind of.

Prior to any domestic pre-season scrimmages or exhibitions, Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams and his squad took a quite unique trip to The Bahamas to play three international games on what the team has deemed the "Bahamas Tour."

And on the first of the Aggies' three game days, forward-duo Henry Coleman and Andersson Garcia took to social media to send fans a message from paradise.

"I'm Henry Coleman III, and I'm Andersson Garcia," the duo began. "We're in The Bahamas this week, [and] we've got a lot of fun-filled events. We're excited to play some basketball during the summer, and we can't wait to show everyone in Aggieland what we're doing."

The Aggies will face the Bahamian National Team, as well as professional teams Zalgiris from Lithuania and Obras Basket from Argentina on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week after spending 10 days of practice in preparation prior to the trip, which the team says was made in an effort to improve before the start of next season.

"The biggest benefit of a foreign tour is broadening the experience for the student-athletes," Aggies coach Buzz Williams said. "This is a unique opportunity for our guys to experience another culture."

Not only that, but the Aggies will spend some time in service to the local community, aiming to build connections and "make great memories" during the process.

"Our program is grateful to our administration and the 12th Man for their support of our Bahamas Tour and look forward to making some great memories," Williams concluded.

Great memories seem to be in order for Williams' squad either way, but if Texas A&M can come away victorious on its tour, that could only increase expectations for next season after it won a program-best 15 conference matchups.

Texas A&M's "Bahamas Tour" begins Monday evening against the Bahamian National Team. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
