MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Antonio Barton scored 16 points, Will Barton added 12 and Memphis overcame a sluggish performance to defeat Charlotte 67-58 on Saturday night. Antonio Barton was 6 of 9 from the field, and Will Barton added 10 rebounds for the Tigers (8-5). Tarik Black finished with 10 points for Memphis. Derrio Green led the 49ers (7-5) with 12 points, while Chris Braswell had 11. DeMario Mayfield added 10 points and eight rebounds for Charlotte. While Memphis controlled the boards 41-36, behind 12 rebounds by Ferrakohn Hall, Charlotte managed to grab 21 offensive rebounds, leading to 17 second-chance points. Memphis broke the game open with nine straight points down the stretch, part of a 13-2 rally to win its third game in the last four.
