With the seconds ticking down, you don’t leave the best shooter. It’s as simple as that. But that is exactly what previously unbeaten Wyoming did against Boise State last night in this MWC game. The Cowboys were 13-0 entering into Wednesday’s tilt with the Broncos. Up a point with just seconds left, they needed only a stop to extend their undefeated start to the season. But for whatever reason, MWC top three-point shooter Jeff Elorriaga, was left wide open, and he made Wyoming pay. The Broncos are continuously improving on the hardwood, and this win should enhance their resume for the tourney. They only have two losses on their schedule, with one of them top #22 ranked Michigan State.
