Led by four players scoring 15+ points, St. Bonaventure easily took care of Citadel on Wednesday evening, blowing out the Bulldogs 97-57. The Bonnies dominated on both sides of the court, winning their second consecutive game by 30+ points. After a decent start put St. Bonaventure on top 43-28 at halftime, the Bonnies exploded in the 2nd half, outscoring Citadel 54-29 in the game’s final 20 minutes. Demetrius Conger led the Bonnies in scoring, recording 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Joining Conger in double-digits for St. Bonaventure include Marquise Simmons, Chris Johnson, Eric Mosley, and Youssou Ndoye. On the night, the Bonnies shot 56.5% from the field while holding the Bulldogs to only 37.5% shooting. St. Bonaventure improves to 7-3 with the win and returns to action Saturday when they take on #22 North Carolina State.
