In case you haven’t been paying attention over the past few years, Butler head basketball coach Brad Stevens really likes his job. No, I mean he really likes his job. For the third-straight offseason, Stevens has been pursued for a major conference job opening (or multiple major conference openings) and has refused to leave the small school he has helped raise to basketball relevance. After going hard at VCU coach Shaka Smart and being rebuffed, Illinois reportedly turned its attention to Stevens. That interest was apparently a one-way street and the 35-year-old has announced that he will remain at Butler. Much like Smart, Stevens is just happy in his current position. He is making good money, is coaching in his home state and for a school that appreciates him and what he has done for it. I have talked to several sources close to Stevens and at this time there are only two schools he would leave Butler for. I won’t say which ones, but if you know anything about Stevens they should...
