Yet somehow, through all of that mess, Scottie Reynolds pulled Nova out of a 17-point hole to beat a very tough Louisville team on the road, 92-84. It was arguably the best game of Scottie's career. He scored 36 points on only ten shots. He was 9-10 from the field and 5-5 from 3. He also has a couple key steals and every single one of his 9 makes were important. He has been absolutely brilliant in Big East play, averaging 23.8 points on 68% shooting from the field. He was pretty much the same player for his first 3 seasons, but he's stepped up to an All-American level so far this year. Scottie is now 10th on the Villanova all-time scoring list, but could finish 1st. If Nova plays 18 more games (this assumes 2 BE tourny games and 2 NCAA games), he needs to average 17.9 ppg to overtake Kerry Kittles for #1 all time. 13.9 ppg would put him in 2nd, above...
