Nerlens Noel  C  Kentucky- Noel has the talent to be a first team All-American, and top 10 draft pick. He is a little bit raw offensively, but Calipari will allow him to start from day one. Shabazz Muhammad  SG  UCLA- Muhammad’s skill set translates perfectly to the college game, and he already has an NBA body. A good season will lead to a top three pick in next year’s draft. Isaiah Austin  C  Baylor- Austin is big and athletic. He comes from the same mold as LaMarcus Aldridge, and could lead Baylor to a national championship. Alex Poythress  SF  Kentucky- Poythress is a springy, rangy athlete that can score from the wing or the paint, and will start from day one. Kyle Anderson  SF  UCLA- Anderson is an exceptional passer and shooter for his size. If he can get quicker, UCLA could be dangerous this year. Kaleb Tarczewski  C  Arizona- This 7-footer is slender, but athletic. He’s an aggressive rebounder with a bevy of post moves in the paint. Anthony Bennett  PF  UNLV- His career could go one of two ways; either he disappears and doesn’t live up to the hype, or he teams up with Moser to form one of the most dangerous frontcourts in college basketball. His toughness and area rebounding are his strengths. Brandon Ashley  SF  Arizona- His game is similar to Anderson’s, but Ashley is more explosive and a better all-around scorer. Sam Dekker  SF  Wisconson- Dekker’s hype seems to grow daily. His unlimited shooting range and ability to create shots for himself could make him special. Stephen Adams  C  Pittsburgh- I’m wary of Adams. Not because of anything he’s done, but Pitt hasn’t had a lot with their five star recruits in recent years. His potential is unlimited if he can settle in. Marcus Smart  SG  Oklahoma State- Smart and LeBryan Nash will be an intriguing duo. Smart’s shooting touch will be the perfect complement to Nash’s ability to get to the basket. Archie Goodwin  SG  Kentucky- There’s no denying the impact he’ll have this season, but I don’t think he’s as good as some of Kentucky’s past freshman; and I don’t think this year’s class is as good as last year’s either. Cameron Ridley  PF  Texas- Texas has a ton of guards, so Ridley’s interior presence will make a huge impact. He’s a great rebounder and above average scorer. Gary Harris  SG  Michigan State- Izzo doesn’t always hand the reins over to his freshman right off the bat, but this talented wing will be hard to keep on the bench. Rasheed Sulamoin  SG  Duke- He will have to fight off a crowded and talented backcourt at Duke, but his physical style will add another dimension to the shooter heavy backcourt they have now.
