John Calipari’s 2013 recruiting class just got even bigger.
Dakari Johnson, 2013′s number 1 center and 12th best overall player, committed to the Kentucky Wildcats on ESPN Saturday night after helping lead Montverde Academy to a convincing win over Chicago Simeon.
Johnson narrowed his college choices down to Georgetown, Syracuse, and Kentucky much like this year’s current starting center, Nerlens Noel, had last year. Johnson stated he chose Kentucky because of the honesty of the coaching staff and for the opportunity to work hard and develop into a better player.
Kentucky currently has 2013′s number 1 recruitng class. Johnson joins the Harrison twins, James Young, Marcus Lee, and Derek Willis.
