TALLAHASSEE, Fla. The upset artists have done it again.
Florida State pulled off its eighth upset of a top-5 team since 2003, dismantling No. 3 North Carolina 90-57 on Saturday afternoon before a capacity crowd at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center.
Deividas Dulkys scored 32 points 10 more than his previous career high and Michael Snaer added 17 points for FSU (11-6, 2-1 ACC), which snapped UNCs nine-game winning streak.
Dulkys made 6 of 7 first-half shots including four 3-pointers as FSU grabbed a 36-28 lead at the half. Dulkys made 8 of 10 3-pointers for the game.
FSU made a season-high 12 3-pointers.
The Seminoles then went on a 22-4 run to open the second half and lead by 58-32 with 14 minutes left in the game.
