Darrell Lampley scored 20 points and made four 3-pointers to lead Eastern Michigan to a 55-50 victory against Bowling Green on Saturday.
Anthony Strickland had eight points for the Eagles (10-11, 5-2 Mid-American), who shot just 36.4 percent (20 of 55) from the floor.
A'uston Calhoun had 12 points and nine rebounds and Dee Brown 10 points for the Falcons (9-11, 3-4), who shot 34.8 percent (16 for 46) and committed 19 turnovers.
Antonio Green hit a 3-pointer to give Eastern Michigan a 49-44 lead with 2:28 remaining. Bowling Green had a turnover, missed shot and missed free throw on its next two possessions, and J.R. Sims made it a seven-point game with a layup with 1:03 left.
The Eagles protected the lead at the free throw line, enabling them to remain atop the MAC's West Division.
