I can’t believe we are already talking about 2015 recruits, but here we go. Last night, Kentucky head coach John Calipari and assistant Orlando Antigua spend the evening in Wheeling, West Virginia to watch #1 2013 player Andrew Wiggins and 2014 point guard Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay’s Prime Prep squad defeated Huntington Prep and Andrew Wiggins 59-46. Mudiay was named MVP of the game, Wiggins had 18 points, 9 rebounds, and shot 7 of 12 from the field. A little surprise for everyone may have came later Friday night after the game. 2015 forward Elijah Thomas tweeted out that he had received an offer from the University of Kentucky. According to the Lexington Herald Leader, Thomas hasn’t officially been offered but the ‘Cats are very interested. In just 12 minutes of play, Thomas scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. ESPN has Thomas ranked #6 on their 2015 class rankings list. Along with Kentucky, he has received interest from Duke, Florida, Indiana, Ohio State, Kansas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Georgetown, Louisville, N.C. State and Texas.
