Yeah, it’s safe to say that it’s a pretty good deal being Rick Pitino. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that it hasn’t been that way for a long time, but fresh off leading the Louisville Cardinals to national championship, the basketball coach apparently hooked and lugged in a monster 80-pound white marlin during a recent fishing expedition in the Bahamas. It’s a good gig if you can get it. Photos tweeted by Jody Demling, the publisher of website Cardinal Authority, documents the scene and evidence of the big catch: So, Rick Pitino caught an 80-pound white marlin in the Bahamas. #hesonaroll twitter.com/jdemling/statu… — Jody Demling (@jdemling) May 9, 2013 And another photo of the marlin Rick Pitino and friends caught in the Bahamas. twitter.com/jdemling/statu… — Jody Demling (@jdemling) May 9, 2013 Well done, Coach Pitino. Sadly, as pointed out by Sporting News, Pitino had his shirt on so we couldn’t catch another glimpse of his new tattoo. Such a shame. And for no other reason except that I feel like it and it’s referenced above, here’s the Primus classic “Fish On.” The post Fish On: Rick Pitino caught an 80-pound marlin in the Bahamas (photo) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
