Well, you had to assume this was coming. Florida center Patric Young, who proclaimed that Boston College “sucks” after hearing that the Eagles had beaten previously undefeated Syracuse, has apologized for his comments. Young took to Twitter Thursday afternoon. I regret the disrespectful comment I made after the interview last night. Boston College deserved only praise after that great win and I — Patric Young (@BigPatYoung4) February 20, 2014 Apologize for taking away from it. I hope that comment does not alter the way people think about me and I wish I could take those words back — Patric Young (@BigPatYoung4) February 20, 2014 While Young probably should have thought before speaking, post-game interviews often catch athletes at the height of their emotions. Regardless, it’s nice to see Young apologizing so quickly.
