Former Ohio State Standout Aaron Craft Working On New Title
Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK

Former Ohio State Buckeyes point guard and fan favorite Aaron Craft was known for his toughness and smart play. He is now working to add a totally different title to his name — MD.

Using the same skill set he employed on the hardwood, Craft now spends his time studying for his goal of one day being a doctor. His fellow teammates fully support him and a few even can’t wait until he’s officially a doctor.

Craft is in his third-year at Ohio State as a medical student. Once he graduated he traded the locker room and hardwood for clinical trials, labs, and lecture halls.

According to the Ohio State Alumni Magazine:

“Craft is in the thick of clinical rotations, putting his learnings from labs and lecture halls into practice caring for patients. ‘Clinical rotations drop you in situations where you’re going to mess up, ask the wrong questions or not know the answers,’ he says. ‘My ability to manage uncertainty came from the game.'”

If Craft brings the tenacity and leadership he showed on and off the court for the Buckeyes, it is a safe bet that he will be exceptional in his future career as well.
