Former UC Guard Cane Broome Named Head Men's Basketball Coach at St. Thomas More Prep School

Former UC basketball player Cane Broome is the new head men's basketball coach of St. Thomas More Prep School in Connecticut.

Broome is an alum of the program and played at UC as a transfer from 2017-19.

"We are excited to announce Cane Broome as our new Developmental Team (Power 5) Head Coach," the team account tweeted. "Cane will enter his third year with the program and was elevated this spring."

Broome was a part of the winningest three-year stretch in UC history (89-18 record). He averaged 8.1 points and 2.6 assists as a senior en route to a 2019 AAC Tournament title.
