I guess we saw this coming, right? I didn’t predict a Louisville loss tonight, but we knew it would come eventually based on the previous two performances from the Cards. There really aren’t a whole lot of positives to take from this game when you look at the stat sheet. Peyton Siva had his best game of the season, but outside of that, this was a pretty poor overall performance from the Cards. Georgetown doesn’t have a player on their team that really scares you. However, the Hoyas execution from start to finish will make them tough to beat. John Thompson is now 3-0 on the season against top ten teams. Anytime you let a team shoot better than 60% from three-point range, you’re not going to win. The fact that the Hoyas were 7 of 11 from downtown is unreal. Not just because they were on fire, but the fact that they were all good shots. Georgetown had a lot of open looks and took advantage of it.
