Found December 26, 2012 on The Cardinal Connect:
Apparently Gorgui Dieng’s x-ray came back positive this afternoon. Rick Pitino tells Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports that Dieng will return to full-contact practice this afternoon. This will be Dieng’s first full practice since Nov. 23. “We’ll see how it goes today,” Pitino told Goodman. “And then we’ll make a decision.” I still don’t think we’ll know for sure until Saturday afternoon if Gorgui will play, but this is definitely a good sign. Even if he’s not at 100%, having him around will really help Louisville in the front-court. I’d still like to see Stephan Van Treese start, but spot minutes for Dieng could be valuable for the Cards.

Joyer Brothers to Wage War in 2013 Sugar Bowl

Many of us grow up with an older sister of brother whom we constantly try to emulate or best in some fashion. Whether these petty (but often times enjoyable) conflicts take shape in sports, academics, parental approval or social status, the rivalry that is created stands the tests of time and the memories never fade.   As the baby in my family, I can remember trying to become...
