I Survived! And the Dookies Lose Again!

KatKat's Blog:
To update you, there were several televisions in the joint last night. But they were all running tape of my friend doing her good deeds. So, I was completely cut off from the world of sports. And I was dying, if not for the Asian-style short ribs and the steady stream of cocktails from the open bar helping to quell my anxiety. But back at the home front, not only did I catch the last couple quarters of the Suns/Lakers game, find out my Heels won, AND catch 2.5 quarters of the Warriors win (okay, I actually fell asleep somewhere early in the 4th quarter), BUT I was given a most unexpected and amazing gift for tearing myself away from the television and unselfishly supporting a worthy cause. DUKE LOST! 45 years, Miami??? Where ya been?
HA! HA! HA! I love surprise good news. And none more than knowing that those morally superior Dookies (whatcha got to say now, Coach K?) got their asses beat. Now, just so I don't sound like a bad sport, I was a little uneasy about the way Duke lost to Wake Forest the other day. Thrilled, but uneasy. I don't want to see games taken away from teams - any team (although, karma is a bitch isn't it?). I want to see teams - I mean Duke - lose fair and square. And even though I didn't see the game last night, the score indicates to me that it was fair and square. So there!
Just checkin' in to let you know how happy I am today, and that I survived last night.
