There will be some University of Louisville roots on the opponents bench when the IUPUI Jaguars visit the Yum! Center on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Head Coach Todd Howard is a former University of Louisville basketball player and is also the son of a former Cardinal basketball player.  A Louisville native, Howard played under former Louisville Head Coach Denny Crum from the 1989-1993.  During his time as a player at Louisville, the program made three NCAA appearances and won two Metro Conference Titles.  After wrapping up his playing career, Todd Howard served as a student assistant under Coach Crum for the 1992-93 season. Todd’s father Terry also played at Louisville.  Unfortunately the senior Howard is mostly known for his time as a Cardinal for something not so great.   In 1975 Louisville faced John Wooden’s final UCLA Bruins team in the national semi-final game in the NCAA tournament.  Prior to the game, Howard had been ...
