Aloys Cabell scored 26 points, making 10 of 13 shots, as Jacksonville defeated East Tennessee State 61-55 in an Atlantic Sun Conference game Monday night. The win was the first for the Dolphins (6-20, 4-11) in six tries at East Tennessee State and kept their hopes alive for the final berth in the eight-team conference tournament. They're one game behind Stetson, which lost to Belmont on Monday night. After a 3-pointer by Jarvis Jones gave the Buccaneers (13-12, 7-7) a 45-44 lead with 8:27 remaining, Jacksonville used a 9-0 run to go up 53-43. ETSU twice cut the lead to two, the last at 59-57 on Tommy Hubbard's layup with 58 seconds left. But Tevin Galvin's jumper as the shot clock expired put Jacksonville back up by four, 59-55, with 25 seconds to play. Marcus Dubose scored 20 points for ETSU, and Hubbard had 18 points and 13 rebounds.
