The Kansas Jayhawks (22-6, 13-2 Big 12) have been one of the best teams in college basketball this season. Bill Self’s team has 10 wins over teams that were ranked at some point this season, including three wins over top-10 teams.
The season hasn’t been all roses for the Jayhawks either though. Kansas played some pretty bad games this year, and the team didn’t play all that great in some of its wins. Kansas is an extremely young team with four of the team’s top six players being freshman, so inconsistency is expected.
But, when Kansas is on, there isn’t a team in the country that is better than the Jayhawks. If Kansas gets hot come NCAA Tournament time, don’t be surprised if the Jayhawks are the team cutting down the nets in North Texas.
