In life, people won’t like you. A major reason is usually jealousy of success. Kentucky is hated. We’re all aware of that — but not only is Kentucky hated, you are hated. Yes, that’s right. Profascinate, (a site that I’ve came to enjoy), has ranked Kentucky basketball second on their “Most Hated Fan Bases in Sports” list. Here’s what they said about the Big Blue Nation: Who remembers when John Calipari was the head basketball coach at Memphis? Wildcat fans tore him apart, calling him a liar and a cheater. Now that he’s their new coach, they worship him. A man who has had 2 Final Four appearances vacated due to NCAA violations, Calipari epitomizes the values of this fan base- win at all costs. This “one-and-done” program has quickly become the most hated in all of college basketball. We’re a “win at all costs” fan base? You might want to give a call to Bobby Petrino and Rick Pitino down in Louisville. The best are always hated. I’m more than happy if that’s what it takes to be a successful program. Morals still exist here, and it works. The Kentucky basketball fan base was ranked only behind that of Alabama football. That’s darn good company in my opinion. Hopefully the nation’s hatred will stay for years to come. For example: Being hated doesn’t suck that bad after all. – Let us know your thoughts in the comments –   MORE GOOD READS ON BBD: Kentucky Heading To The Bahamas, Without Cauley-Stein Coach Cal With No Intention Of Going To NBA Javess Blue Ranked 86th Best Player In SEC My Life As A UK Fan FOLLOW BIG BLUE DIGEST ON TWITTER — @BigBlueDigest
