Kentucky’s Eloy Vargas takes high school student to her prom

While signing autographs in Bowling Green Kentucky on Saturday morning, Kentucky’s center, Eloy Vargas, was met by one of his fans with a big question. That question came from Natascha Richardson, a senior at nearby Gatton Academy. She asked Vargas to take her to her prom, that night.

Vargas obliged, on one condition. He requested that he be allowed to attend the prom in casual attire, being that the event was on short notice and he didn’t have time to pick up more formal clothing.

Richardson had no objections and Vargas attended the prom in a sweater and jeans. The couple went to dinner, took photos and even danced a bit.
