Rick Pitino and John Calipari will tell all of us that the annual battle between Louisville and Kentucky is simply “just another game.” We know that isn’t the case, but you can be certain you’ll hear it from one if not both coaches at some point this week. Regardless if Louisville wins or loses against Kentucky on Saturday, Rick Pitino’s team is still a threat to win the 2013 NCAA championship. However, the pressure is on Rick Pitino and his team to reclaim bragging rights in the Bluegrass state. Pitino hasn’t beaten Kentucky since John Calipari took over the Wildcat program in 2009. If he is going to do it, this is the year. A loss to Calipari on Saturday would mean that it simply wasn’t meant to be for Coach Pitino. It’s not that Kentucky has no chance to win, but should win without much trouble. Pitino has the better team, even if Gorgui Dieng doesn’t play, and most of the players on Louisville’s roster have experience in this rivalry and will need no motivation on Saturday. Losi...
