That may have been one of the ugliest double-digit wins I’ve seen in a long time, but I’ll take it. Road games in league play don’t come too easy. This team still isn’t where they need to be, but tonight was definitely a step in the right direction. This was a sluggish start as usual for the Cards, but once they were able to force some turnovers and knock down three’s, they were in control for the rest of the way. The Cards finished with 22 assists tonight, which shows you that despite it getting sloppy at times, the offense was much improved. Louisville had just 6 total assists against Kentucky on Saturday. Russ Smith continued to play well leading the Cards with 17 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Russ is maki...

Center. Sure, UofL has plenty of defensive intensity when 20,000 or more fans...

Making Sense of Louisville

Despite the fact that conference play has started in most leagues and we now have at least a dozen games upon which to evaluate each team, there are still some squads I can’t get a great read on.  Over the coming weeks, my plan is to take a closer look at these teams in an attempt to formulate an opinion one way or the other. The first team I wanted to break down is Louisville...
