Louisville will take-on the number one seeded Michigan State Spartans on Thursday evening in Phoenix, Arizona. Tip-off time has not been announced yet. Michigan State knocked off Long Island and Saint Louis in the second and third round to make their fourth Sweet 16 appearnance in the last five years.
The Spartans opened up as a 5-point favorite. These two teams have not met since March of 2009, when Michigan State beat Louisville in the Elite-8.
I would much rather be playing Saint Louis than Michigan State, but with that being said, I think the Spartans are very beatble. When looking around at the other three regions, I like Louisville’s set-up. I’d much rather play Michigan State than any of the other number one seeds. I think Louisville matches up very well with the Spartans. Draymond Green is one of the best players in the country and is match-up nightmare for a lot of teams, but I think Louisville’s 2-3 may keep him from getting into a rythym offesnively.
I’ll have much more...
