Michigan State was in a heated battle with Memphis in the round of 32 during the 2013 March Madness tournament.  Some of that heat carried over to the huddle as Derrick Nix and Keith Appling had a towel fight and had to be restrained in the huddle. Nix and Appling went to high school together, which I guess means this is acceptable. You have to wonder how this tension among teammates impacts the Spartans’ run to the Final Four?
